Bridgeway Pro-Barriers is delighted to announce that Brigadier Gen (Retd) Gerald Aherne, is joining our team. Gerald commanded the Irish Defence Forces 4th Western Brigade, was Chief Operations Officer for the UN military force (UNMIL) in Liberia and Sierra Leone in 2007/08, Deputy Force Commander in Chad and the Central Africa Republic of the UN Force MINURCAT ( 2009/10) and Mission Commander of the EUs Military Training Mission (EUTM) in Uganda and Somalia in 2013/14.He advised and briefed the NATO Council; EU’s Political and Security, and Military Committees; the AU, African Governments, ECOWAS, IGAD. We are delighted to have Gerald on board.
