ABOUT PRO-BARRIERS
Bridgeway Pro-Barriers are made of galvanised weld mesh manufactured to European standards in facilities that are certified ISO 9001, guaranteeing a product with a long life. Each barrier is then lined with a heavy duty non-woven geotextile that is specially manufactured with a high UV resistance to produce a product with long life.
This textile has been tested to withstand the toughest of environmental conditions. Bridgeway Pro-Barrier has been tested for durability, stack ability and blast attack. It has passed the PAS 68 N3 impact collision test, equivalent to the K12 US standard. Also it has passed assessment by QinetiQ UK relating to the STANAG 2280 Nation classification standards.
The Bridgeway Pro-barriers come in a range of different sizes. From the Pro-1 to the Pro-12. They come in different colours: white, beige and green to suit the environment where they will be deployed. Units can also be made to clients own specifications.
They can be shipped directly to the required location flat packed on a pallet. The units are pre-assembled. You will only require limited manpower to construct the units, and using an excavator or wheeled loader to fill units with local material.
Units are made from zinc-alu weld mesh. The coils adjoining pins are made form a high tensile galvanised wire. These components are manufactured in facilities certified to ISO 9001. All are lined with a heavy duty non woven polypropylene with a high UV resistance for long life in the harshest of environment
BARRIER TESTING
Bridgeway Pro Barriers have been tested by leading specialists in impact collision and ballistic testing.
Mira Ltd is a leading specialist in impact collision testing. The Bridgeway Pro-Barrier 01 was tested in accordance with PAS 68:N3:2010. Where an 18 ton truck travelling at 80km per hour came to an instant stop on impact with the Bridgeway Pro-Barrier 01. It was assessed to have classification A-foundation / passive / wall and has passed all the PAS 68 N:3 2010 standards.
All Bridgeways geotextile is UV tested and certified to all necessary standards.
QinetiQ UK have more than 25 years experience of design, test and assessment of various force protection and fortification structures for a variety of threat levels. Based on this experience QinetiQ has conducted an assessment of the Bridgeway single cell Pro-Barrier product against STANAG 2280.
Test also carried out in Europe’s second largest gun range to STANAG 2280 standards.

These standards are for a single cell Pro-Barrier. When the units are placed side by side it creates even greater protection.
DEFENCE BARRIERS
Protecting military personnel and equipment is of vital importance. With the risk of attack from external threats always imminent the Bridgeway Pro-Barrier acts as a defence wall.
It can be built in many configurations to ensure, for example, that the entire area of a base camp is secure or vital supplies such as oil refineries or gas lines are protected from attack.
Having undergone strict test conditions complying with PAS 68 N3, the units are durable and with any follow up attack the side units are still secure.
FLOOD PROTECTION
Bridgeway Pro-Barriers are the ideal solution to protect from natural disasters such as flooding. The trend to build on floodplains has introduced the threat of flooding and has become a major worry for residential and business areas.
Often the threat of flooding allows little time for planning. Bridgeway Pro-Barrier can be stored by any local authority or defence organisation and can be deployed immediately and efficiently in response to this threat. The units can be filled quickly with local material such as sand, earth and small rocks.
Where a defence wall is going to be more long term, it can be filled with concrete and decorated to be aesthetically pleasing.
